Description
Our 100% Cotswold roving is from our sheep. Cotswold sheep are considered threatened by Canadian and international heritage livestock associations because of their low numbers. We are privileged to shepherd our flock of over 100 Cotswold sheep and to advocate for them and the beauty of their wool. Cotswold wool is silky and lustrous while also having durability with a micron count of 32 to 40.
Uses: Cotswold wool wet and dry felts beautifully. It accepts dye readily, producing deep jewel tones. Hand-spinning our Cotswold roving has been described as “smooth as butter,” and hand-spun yarn retains the lustre of the original locks.
Note: We shepherd our sheep with a very personal approach. You can select which sheep’s roving you’d like and we will email you a bio so that you can enjoy them as much as we do!
Shipping: In Canada, flat rate calculated in Your Cart; international shipping charges estimated by weight.
