Description
Enjoy our range of beautiful dyed Cotswold roving! Our 100% Cotswold roving is from our sheep and other Canadian cotswold breeders whom we support. Sold in 25g and 50g amounts with bulk pricing for larger quantities.
Uses: Cotswold wool wet and dry felts beautifully. It accepts dye readily, producing deep jewel tones. Hand-spinning our Cotswold roving has been described as “smooth as butter,” and hand-spun yarn retains the lustre of the original locks.
About Cotswold Sheep: Cotswold sheep are considered threatened by Canadian and international heritage livestock associations because of their low numbers. We are privileged to shepherd our flock of over 100 Cotswold sheep and to advocate for them and the beauty of their wool. Cotswold wool is silky and lustrous while also having durability with a micron count of 32 to 40.
