PLOCKS are St. Mary Meade Farm & Wool Mill’s best product for art yarn lovers! Plocks begin with our cleanest fleeces….then we wash and pick the locks (that’s where the name comes from — Picked Locks!). The result is a beautiful lofty, fluffy wool that can be spun into art yarn. Plocks produce a beautiful, textured handspun yarn, similar to spinning from the lock, only without the strain on the hands often experienced when hand-picking the locks.

We also love using PLOCKS in wet and needle felted projects for the beautiful texture they create.

PLOCKS can be dyed.
