Our rug-hooking kits, designed from start to finish at St. Mary Meade Farm & Wool Mill, use wool produced and dyed at our Mill and grown here on the farm from our own flock or our local sheep friends farms.

The kits are suitable for beginners, and include everything you need (except a 10″ embroidery hoop or rug-hooking frame) to produce the rug:

• burlap background, machine stitched around the edges
• all the yarn you need (and more)
• a rug hook
• a colour guide and photo

Our sheep-themed kits tell the story of St. Mary Meade Farm. Each kit’s sheep is created using that specific sheep’s hand-spun Cotswold wool. For example, The Royal Family features Margaret, the Princess, and uses Margaret’s handspun wool!

Frames for these rugs (6-1/4 x 6-1/4″)  are available for 32$.
