Our long-awaited heritage breed wool subscription program is here!! We started our wool mill so that we could process our own flock of heritage sheep’s wool – especially our long wool Cotswolds. A core vision of our farm and mill is to advocate for the growth of rare-breed sheep and to that end we are launching our Heritage Breed Wool Subscription Program. Our 4-month subscription program offers two options: a) roving (100g) or b) hand-spun yarn (80-100g).
What You’ll Receive
Every month for 4 months, you’ll receive:
- Roving (100g) or hand-spun yarn (80-100g; 220yd)
- The bio of the sheep who donated that wool (all of our sheep are named and have stories!)
- Information about the breed of sheep
- Tips on the best uses for that breed of wool (knitting/crocheting, felting – needle and wet, weaving, spinning)
You’ll experience 4 types of heritage wool from our own flock, including:
- Cotswold adult – natural (white or coloured)
- Cotswold lamb – natural (white or coloured)
- Clun Forest
- Border Leicester
Each of these breeds is monitored by international livestock conservancy agencies because their numbers are low. Cotswold sheep and Border Leicesters are listed as “endangered” and Clun Forest sheep have been “threatened” for many years. When you sign up for our Heritage Breed Wool Subscription Program, you are supporting the growth of these breeds!

Option 1: Roving Subscription
90$ + 4.50 GST + 34.00 shipping (8.50/month) = 128.50
For your one-time payment of $128.50 all shipping and taxes are included.
Option 2: Hand-spun Yarn Subscription
165$ + 8.25 GST + 34.00 shipping (8.50/month) = 207.25
For your one-time payment of $207.25 all shipping and taxes are included.
