Description

Part of the ethos of the mill is to support local sheep producers who want to put their wool to productive use. We do this by purchasing local wool at a fair price. Our 100-mile yarn is a mix of Dorset, Ile de France, and Rideau Arcott wool. It is dyed in house at St. Mary Meade Farm & Mill. Each skein is 124g (141 yards). Our yarn is from local flocks and was processed at Carstairs Woollen Mill (AB).
