Description
Our Beginning Wool Art Class is a 3-hour in-person class held onsite at the Mill. The class includes all the supplies that you’ll need to create a beautiful wool art painting (6×6″) designed by shepherdess and mill co-owner, Dawn Kingston.
Not only will you leave with a beautiful piece of art that you can hang on your wall, you will learn all the techniques you need to build a new fibre craft. We carry all the supplies you need!

Course Objectives
By the end of this class, participants will be able to:

Understand the basics of wool fibres and their artistic uses

Blend and layer wool to create dimension, texture, and colour transitions

Use simple felting techniques to secure and refine a wool painting

Plan a basic composition suitable for wool artwork

Complete a small wool painting from start to finish

Care for and preserve wool-based art pieces
